The RNLI lifeboats from Redcar were launched on Sunday 20 September 2015 after UK Coastguard received 999 calls reporting two people in difficulties in the sea near the Majuba car park, Redcar. The D class lifeboat was launched at 4.27pm on Saturday 19 September 2015 after UK Coastguard received a call from a very distressed dog owner after their pet got into difficulties in the sea near the Majuba caravan park. Rescue - Tuesday 15 September 2015

The Atlantic 85 lifeboat Leicester Challenge III launched at 1.05am on Tuesday 15 September 2015 to standby in the River Tees while police and fire brigade dealt with a person at risk of harm near the Middlesbrough Football Club Riverside Stadium. The lifeboat was stood down after approximately 30 minutes when the incident was brought to a close.
