Both RNLI lifeboats from Redcar were launched just after 11.30pm on Sunday 11 October 2015 after UK Coastguard received a desperate 999 call from a woman, reporting that she was in the sea at Marske. » Read moreThe Redcar RNLI lifeboat Leicester Challenge III was launched just after 4.30pm on Sunday 4 October 2015 after a pleasure boat with four adults and a child broke down approximately 1 mile north east of the lifeboat station. The disabled craft was towed to safety at Hartlepool marina.
