Rescue - Tuesday 20 October 2020
Two adults, a man and a pregnant woman, had to be rescued on Tuesday 20 October 2020 after they became cut off by the incoming tide at Redcar.
The Redcar RNLI inshore lifeboat launched just before 3pm. Its crew found the couple knee-deep in water approximately 50 metres from the shoreline on West Scar rocks.
They were brought ashore in the lifeboat unharmed.
