Cheers, Peterborough!
Ever since the arrival of "Peterborough Beer Festival" at Redcar in 1997 the crew has been big fans of the fundraising event. Even though the boat has since left us, the tradition hasn't!

Every year members of the Redcar crew have helped with the fundraising effort at the Peterborough beer festival, held in the last week of August.

Crew members Ernie Bennett and Mark Reeves manned the entrance to the festival and helped to raise over £12,000 for the RNLI during the 2007 event.

The fundraisers at Peterborough have raised enough money for 2 D Class lifeboats and this year raised enough to buy an Atlantic 85 class boat.
