Rescue - Sunday 4 October 2015

The Redcar RNLI lifeboat Leicester Challenge III was launched just after 4.30pm on Sunday 4 October 2015 after a pleasure boat with four adults and a child broke down approximately 1 mile north east of the lifeboat station. The disabled craft was towed to safety at Hartlepool marina.

The Atlantic 85 lifeboat Leicester Challenge III launched at 1.05am on Tuesday 15 September 2015 to standby in the River Tees while police and fire brigade dealt with a person at risk of harm near the Middlesbrough Football Club Riverside Stadium. The lifeboat was stood down after approximately 30 minutes when the incident was brought to a close.
